How to visualize the traces of migration in an urban context? How to undestand in a graphical way the relations between wealth-based and poverty-based migrations, and its economical, social and legal impacts in a city like Venice?
In a collaboration with Wolfgang Scheppe , Miguel had the opportunity to rethink the structures of the migropolis, developing strategies to outline and reveal the truth about migration in fortress europe. Guided by W.S., a group of young artists and designers made inteviews, took photos, read documents and interpreted charts to produce Migropolis, a book full of stories, legal absurdities and inexistent human rights with a common factor: the need for the money.
